Zim increasing capacity for Asia-Tampa service

Zim increasing capacity for Asia-Tampa service Zim Integrated Shipping Services said Monday it will add another vessel to its Asia-Gulf Express (AGX) service that calls the Port of Tampa.
   The new vessel will bring the total number of ships in the string to 10, each with a capacity of 3,000 twenty-foot equivalent units.
   'Zim has answered the call to the overwhelming response by shippers who require a reliable, comprehensive, fast service to Asia via Tampa,' noted Tom Keen, senior vice president, marketing and sales for Zim. 'We have added Japan to give Florida importers and exporters the opportunity to take advantage of new market opportunities with more sailings and very competitive transit times.'
