Both carriers will provide two 1,800-TEU ships on the North Europe/U.S. East Coast (NEC) service. The NEC will call at Antwerp, Hamburg and Liverpool in North Europe and New York, Norfolk and Savannah in the United States.
The NEC will be the third recently started weekly transatlantic service to call at the United Kingdom port of Liverpool, following Mediterranean Shipping Co.’s Montreal Express and the joint Liberty Bridge/EAX service of CMA CGM and China Shipping.
