Zim orders reefer containers
Zim Israel Navigation Co. has ordered 850 40-foot reefer containers at a cost of about $15 million.
The high-cube containers will be built in China and are due to enter service from February onwards. Zim said the additional refrigeration units will represent an increase of about 10 percent in its special 40-foot reefer container fleet.
All of Zim's refrigerated containers are equipped with an de-humidification option, and are capable of lowering humidity.
