Zim starts Kingston/East Coast South America feeder

Zim starts Kingston/East Coast South America feeder    Zim Integrated Shipping Services has started a weekly feeder service linking the Port of Kingston, Jamaica with the North and East coasts of South America.
   The South America Express service uses five ships of about 1,700 TEUs calling Kingston, Puerto Cabello, La Guaira, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, Vitoria, Fortaleza, La Guaira, Puerto Cabello and back to Kingston.
   The 1,606-TEU “Zim Buenos Aires” started the service when it departed Kingston Thursday.
   Zim recently withdrew as a vessel provider on the joint U.S. East Coast/East Coast South America East Coast Americas Service with Hanjin Shipping, “K” Line and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
