Zim to raise transatlantic rates
Zim said it will hike westbound transatlantic rates next month.
From the West Mediterranean to the United States and Canada, rates will increase $200 for 20-foot containers, $250 for 40-foot containers, and $350 for 40-foot high-cube reefer containers. The increases go into effect Oct. 1 in Canada and Oct. 15 in the United States.
From Israel to the United States and Canada, the increase will be $200 per container, effective Oct. 15.
From the West Mediterranean to South America, rates will increase 200 euro per container on Oct. 1.
From the West Mediterranean to Central America and Mexico $75, the increase is per TEU, also effective Oct. 1.
