Zogby to testify before Congress

Zogby to testify before Congress Pollster John Zogby was scheduled to testify before two House subcommittees Thursday about Latin American perceptions of the United States.
   Zogby heads Zogby International, which has conducted years of survey research in the region and concluded 'there is a growing disaffection with the United States that threatens our nation's longstanding vital interests and working relationship with Latin American countries,' a Zogby International press release said.
   Zogby was set to testify before a joint hearing of two House subcommittees: the Foreign Relations Subcommittee on International Organizations and Oversight, and the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere.
   His testimony comes as President Bush departs Thursday for a week-long visit to Latin America that will take him to Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico.
