The U.S. House of Representatives passed a highway reauthorization bill on Thursday that includes a provision to raise trucking insurance liability from $750,000 to $2 million, mandates automatic braking on new trucks and increases scrutiny of truck dispatch services. 3. DP World has acquired supply chain solutions provider syncreon at an enterprise value of $1.2 billion. The Dubai state-owned port operator said the deal will allow it to provide end-to-end solutions capabilities to cargo owners.
