Executive Moves: CSX and Shipco Transport

CSX names treasurer, while Shipco Transport appoints a new Chicago general manager.    CSX Railway has appointed David Baggs as vice president and treasurer, in addition to his current role as the company’s investor relations officer. Baggs, who currently serves as vice president of capital markets and investor relations, will take over his new role upon retirement of David Boor, vice president of tax and treasurer, on July 1. Baggs joined the railroad in 1985.

   Stig Krogh has been named Shipco Transport’s Chicago general manager, following the retirement of Alex Kaczmarski on May 1. Krogh is currently serving as vice president of the Atlantic and Gulf, a position which he will continue to hold at the non-vessel-operating common carrier. He joined Shipco in September 2012.
