Executive Moves: Norfolk Southern and Suddath Cos.

Norfolk Southern adjusts intermodal operations oversight, while Suddath Cos. appoints new CEO.    Jeffrey S. Heller and Gary G. Booth have assumed additional responsibilities in Norfolk Southern’s intermodal operations. Heller, former vice president intermodal and automotive marketing, has become vice president intermodal and automotive, while Booth, former assistant vice president intermodal service development, is now group vice president intermodal operations. Heller joined the railroad in 1994 and Booth has been with NS since 1984.

   The Suddath Cos. has appointed Michael J. Brannigan to president and chief executive officer. He was previously the company’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. Brannigan replaces Barry Vaughn, formerly CEO who has become vice chairman.
