As part of its investigation into the Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway crude oil accident in Quebec on July 6, Canada’s Transportation Safety Board has asked Canadian and U.S. authorities to clarify how dangerous goods are classified.

The survey, to be open for two months starting from late September, gauges the views of logistics operators express in developing and developed countries. Results will feed into the 2014 Logistics Performance Index.
