TCA makes recordings of COVID-19 webinars available

Access to information and key contacts can help trucking fleets navigate these uncertain times. The Truckload Carriers Association has made available two recordings of recent webinars to help fleets better understand the current conditions.

These webinars are in addition to TCA’s COVID-19 resources page and daily communications from the association sent to members.

On April 3, internal TCA experts were joined by members of the TCA Profitability Program (TPP) and KSM Transportation Advisors on a webinar that discussed best practices for protecting trucking operations during these difficult times. The webinar also delved into recruiting professional truck drivers, contingency strategies and more.

The “Managing Operations During Uncertain Times” webinar can be viewed here.

Prior to that, TCA produced a webinar focused on navigating the financial crisis. The March 27 webinar featured experts from the TPP program and KSM sharing best practices and strategies on how to build a strong contingency plan.

That webinar, “Financial Navigation in Uncertain Times,” can be accessed here.

The webinars are just part of the communication and information process TCA has undertaken for its membership. The association has created the Resources for COVID-19 page. The page features links to FMCSA declarations concerning COVID-10, Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing guidance, information on the CDC and cybersecurity, and CARES Act information.

Other links take users to the Small Business Association, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, legal comments from TCA’s legal counsel, and IRS tax information.
