FMC reviews 10 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 10 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Dove Global Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Chol Min Kim, president); ICargo Global Logistics, Huntington Station, N.Y. (Edwin J. Arriaga, president); and TGP Logistics, Houston (Myrian T. Morales, vice president).
The agency also received an NVO/ocean freight forwarder license application from AG International Cargo Corp., Miami (Maria C. Reyes, president); and XL Worldwide Corp., Miami (Freddy Franco, secretary); and an ocean freight forwarder license application from Jawad Salim, Cypress, Texas (Jawed Salim, sole proprietor).
In addition, the FMC received applications for a change to a qualifying individual from Unity Container Line, Miami (Jose R. Gantus, president); and for trade name changes from Safe Movers, Stoughton, Mass. (Yizhaq Edry, treasurer) formerly Isaac’s Moving & Storage; Sealaska Global Logistics, Forest Park, Ga. (Angela Higgs, senior vice president) to 20Cube Logistics Worldwide; and Triple “B” Packers & Forwarders, Carson, Calif. (Jose R. Gantus, president) to Triple “B” Forwarders.
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C., at (202) 523-5843. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — are also available on the FMC website.
