FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Advanced Shipping Express Corp., Mount Prospect, Ill. (Kiryun Lee, president); Embarque Tineo, Paterson, N.J. (Gilberto A. Tineo, managing member); Fortune Pace (USA), Flushing, N.Y. (Wing Nung Lo, president); General Shipping Co., Los Angeles (Allen E. Hung, president); R.W. Logistics Services Corp., Stanton, Calif. (Pengfei Wang, chief executive officer); Tropical Foods, Miami (Daren J. Primoli, president); and Y&M Freight Solution, El Monte, Calif. (Rui F. Yu, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Complete Cargo Solutions, San Juan, Puerto Rico (Jose A. Mojica, secretary); PCS Worldwide, Jamaica, N.Y. (Christian “Chris” J. Choi, vice president); QEC Worldwide, Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (Sau N. Leung, president); Siati Express, Miami (Alexandra Ocopio, secretary); and Universal Relocations, Parsipanny, N.J. (Saibaba V. Dattani, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Alga of America, Miami (Jose Roberto Freitas, president); and Frontier North America, Itasca, Ill. (Agata R. Culic, vice president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Cascadia Container Line, Scottsdale, Ariz. (Wellington Fedee, director of operations); Hill Brothers Intermodal Logistics, Omaha, Neb. (Antonio Martinez, assistant secretary); In Motion Logistics, Pembroke Pines, Fla. (Juan D. Restrepo, manager); and Transcontainer Transport, Clifton, N.J. (Claudia H. Carby, chief executive officer); for the addition of trade name ECU Worldwide from O.T.I. Cargo, Miami (John Abisch, president); and for a name change to 1 JML Corp. from Raices Express, Doral, Fla. (Rafael I. Santos, secretary).
