FMC reviews 21 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 21 license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from British American Shipping, Cypress, Calif. (Paul D. Snell, chief executive officer); Fair Deal Shipping, Springfield Gardens, N.Y. (Mohammed Refaz Siddiquee); Outer Seaways, Philadelphia (Brian L. Cassidy, vice president); and Reindeer Forwarding, Zionsville, Ind. (Alan J. Waugh, vice president of international operations).

   The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from AMC Transportation, Rosemead, Calif. (Kuan C. Lee, chief executive officer); De Well Logistics, Rancho Dominguez, Calif. (Kevin L. Higgins, executive vice president of operations); Everplus Logistics, Hackensack, N.J. (Danny Shin, secretary); Miami Boat Export Corp., Coral Springs, Fla. (Nelson Munive, president); Pegasus Worldwide Logistics, Carson, Calif. (Raymond Choy, secretary); and Peravia Shipping Co., Passaic, N.J. (Mirna Marte, secretary).

   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from First America Metal Corp., Minooka, Ill. (Sean Xu, general manager); and Sombut Kunkang, Cerritos, Calif. (Sombut Kunkang, sole proprietor).

   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from American Freight Logistics, City of Industry, Calif. (Jennifer X. McCormick, president); Cargo America, Houston (Ali Jabr, president); Concert Group Logistics, Downers Grove, Ill. (Kevin J. Koerner, vice president of operations); Hanjin Transportation Co., Seoul, Korea (Jade Lee, secretary); Heneways U.S.A., Wood Dale, Ill. (Richard Tilford, vice president); and T.A. Provence and Co., Mobile, Ala. (Cheryl C. Sloan, president). The agency received an applications for name changes from MIQ Global, Overland Park, Ill. (Tina Jansen, vice president of compliance and import service); NDO America, Carson, Calif. (Theresa A. Fulton, assistant secretary); and Sun Fine Systems, Baldwin Park, Calif. (David Sun, chief financial officer).
