FMC reviews 26 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 26 license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Ri-Time Group, City of Industry, Calif. (Biyu Gao, president); and Trans Atlantic Shipping, Sorrento, Fla. (Timothy A. Voit, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from AC Alliance USA, Wood Dale, Ill. (Matway Gurfinkel, manager); Aduana International Freight Forwarding Service, Harmon, Guam (Edgar Baterna, corporate secretary); AFC LS, Kennesaw, Ga. (Keith Phillips, vice president); Air Sea Land Shipping & Moving, New York (Vajira P. Mendis, president); Darya Globeship, Lake Mary, Fla. (Himjit Sikand, managing member); Dongbu Express U.S.A., Torrance, Calif. (Mi Jung Yu, vice president); Enter to USA, Miami (Julio A. Aninat, operating manager); HLI Logistics, Hillside, N.J. (Ute Bender, managing director); Milogix, La Mirada, Calif. (Susan Choe, president); Piton Logistics, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Marlene Sookram-Sirju, president); Polmar Cargo, Doral, Fla. (Handher Amador, treasurer); Royal Shipping, Dearborn Heights, Mich. (Hussein M. Mazeh, secretary); and Tapco International, Riviera Beach, Fla. (Paul Pellitieri, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Emarat Shipping, Anaheim, Calif. (Tareq K. Elbarq, president); and Knight (USA), Eastampton, N.J. (Louis Simone, operating manager).
   In addition, the agency received applications for a change to qualifying individuals from Armada AVS Corp., Carson, Calif. (Oksana Zharkova, secretary); Auto Export Shipping, Elizabeth, N.J. (Michael DeCandia, assistant secretary); Bright Star Logistics, Los Angeles (Kirk Kim, secretary); Delmar International (N.Y.), Rosedale, N.Y. (Robert Tayler, vice president); Efreightsolutions, Irving, Texas (Frank M. Ramirez, assistant secretary); and Norman G. Jensen, Minneapolis (Roxi Peiffer, assistant secretary); for trade name additions from Newtrans Worldwide, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Kenny K. Kim, president) for S-Logibus (US); and Weida Freight System, Inglewood, Calif. (Maria L. Trujillo, vice president) for WFS Global Logistics; and for the removal of a trade name (International Van Lines) from Ocean Star International, Coral Springs, Fla. (Joshua S. Morales, president).
