FMC reviews 27 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 27 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from 7 Seas Shipping Co., Friendswood, Texas (Sumair Qureshi, president); Eastgate Express, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Kenneth Ebenmelu, director); Northstar Global Freight, Hacienda Heights, Calif. (Cathy B. Li, president); Pyramids Freight Services and Trading, Cairo, Egypt (Remon Sarofeem, managing director); TreTaylor International, Rocky Face, Ga. (Linnie M. Cox, president); Vorb Shipping Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y. (John R. St. Clair-Canaii, vice president); and WW Messenger & Shipping Co., Orange, N.J. (Wesley Weekes, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Avion Caribbean Express Shipping, Newark, N.J. (Floyd Mitchell, president); CMR Transport, Medley, Fla. (Magalys Romero, vice president); Green Light International Logistics Corp., Richmond, Calif. (Zi “Mara” Li, president); LF Worldwide Transport, Charlotte, N.C. (Amy L. Parris, member); Pacific International Logistics, Forest Park, Ill. (Weiping “Anna” Xu, director); Pioneer Global Logistics, Artesia, Calif. (Rene Ruey M. Lai, vice president of sales); T&N Logistics Corp., Miami, Fla. (Monica B. Amado, secretary); and Zeny Express U.S.A., Jamaica, N.Y. (Zhan Feng Wang, manager).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Best 4 Shipping, Jamaica, N.Y. (Omolara Omotosho, president); and Guardian International, Fort Wayne, Ind. (Tonya R. Watson, vice president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Centra Freight Services, South San Francisco, Calif. (Carlos Gonzalez Jr., vice president); Mitsubishi Corp. LT USA, Schaumburg, Ill. (Shunsuke Ohtsu, executive vice president); Right Link Freight Forwarding Corp., Doral, Fla. (Maria A. Pinero Arteaga, vice president); Savino Del Bene U.S.A., Jamaica, N.Y. (Domenica Naranjo, vice president); UFS Logistics, Ontario, Calif. (Chieh Bao, secretary); Woojin Global Logistics USA, Rancho Dominguez, Calif. (Ki Tae Kim, president); and Worldwide Container Transfer Corp., South San Francisco, Calif. (Terence Tsang, vice president of business development); for transfers from Air Sea International Forwarding, Linden, N.J. (Raymond Tobia Sr., president) to A.S.I. Forwarding; Dormex Superfresh Growers, Yakima, Wash. (Kevin Kershaw, corporate board member) to DSG Logistics; and United Shipping, Greensboro, N.C. (Saleh M. Abdul, president) to US Global Shipping.
