FMC reviews 5 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received five ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received five ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier/ocean freight forwarder license applications from FSG Logistics (USA), Kent, Wash. (Mark L. Pederson, president); and ICECORP USA, Carpentersville, Ill. (Julie R. Thompson, vice president).
The agency also received an ocean freight forwarder license application from Carl Edward Fendley Jr., Spring, Texas (Carl E. Fendley Jr., sole proprietor).
In addition, the FMC received license applications for a change to a qualifying individual from UTI, United States, Clark, N.J. (Carsten Trolle, vice president); and for the addition of trade name Roar Ocean Services from Road Air Transportation, Hollywood, Fla. (Timothy J. Kastagir, chief operating officer).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. at (202) 523-5843. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
