Pasha begins new schedule to Hawaii

Ocean carrier will offer two departures from Los Angeles and one from Oakland to Honolulu.

Pasha, which completed its acquisition of the Hawaii service of Horizon Lines at the end of last month, has begun operating between mainland United States and Hawaii with its new sailing schedule this week.
Starting this week, Pasha will offer two weekly container departures from Los Angeles on Saturday and Wednesday; both will offer four-day transit times to Honolulu.
The new Los Angeles Express or LHX service, which departs Los Angeles on Wednesdays, will employ Pasha’s newest combination container and roll-on/roll-off ship, Marjorie C. as well as the Enterprise, formerly one of Horizon’s C-8 containerships. The ships will shuttle back and forth between LA and Honolulu.
The California-Hawaii Express or CHX service will have a full port rotation of Los Angeles, Honolulu, Oakland, and Los Angeles with Horizon’s two C-9 vessels, Spirit and Reliance. Transit times from Los Angeles to Hawaii will also be four days, while transit times from Oakland will be seven days.
Pasha will also continue to offer fortnightly service between San Diego and Hawaii with its original  ro-ro ship, Jean Anne, which will sail from San Diego to Honolulu, Kahului, Hilo, and back to San Diego.
