Executive Moves: NATA, NTSB and Port of Cleveland

NATA VP announces retirement, while NTSB swears in new vice chairman and Port of Cleveland appoints board chairman.    Vice President of Operations at the National Air Transportation Association Amy B. Koranda has announced her retirement from NATA, effective March 31, 2015. Koranda leaves NATA after 17 years of service, during which time she worked to develop and grow NATA’s Professional Line Service Training Online and Safety 1st programs.

The National Transportation Safety Board swore in T. Bella Dinh-Zarr as vice chairman for a two-year term. Dinh-Zarr, who holds both PhD and MPH degrees, became a board member on March 23, 2015, and was designated as vice chairman by President Obama earlier this week.
Prior to her appointment Dinh-Zarr served as director of the U.S. office of the FIA Foundation, an international philanthropy dedicated to promoting safe and sustainable transportation. Before that she served as the North American director of Make Roads Safe – The Campaign for Global Road Safety.

The board of trustees for the Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority has elected Chris Ronayne as its new board chair. Ronayne has led planning, development, education, marketing, police, and other shared services as president and CEO of University Circle, Inc.
The board also elected Diane Downing as vice chair and Anthony Moore as secretary. Downing serves as senior vice president and director of corporate affairs for Huntington National Bank and has been on the board since 2013. Moore, a retired partner from Jones Day, has been on the Board since 2008 and previously served as the board secretary from 2011 until 2013.
