Executive Moves: YRC and Baltic Exchange

YRC Worldwide Inc. names chief financial officer, and the Baltic Exchange appoints chief commercial officer.    YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) named Stephanie D. Fisher chief financial officer. Fisher served as acting chief financial officer, and vice president and controller of YRCW since January 2017, and immediately before that, as vice president and controller of the company since May 2012. She joined the company in 2004 and has over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and corporate compliance.

   The Baltic Exchange has appointed Janet Sykes chief commercial officer, who will join the exchange on July 3. Sykes worked at Clarksons Platou between 2010 and 2017, where she was responsible for all international and external communications and marketing. She was previously head of marketing at the Baltic Exchange from 2001 to 2010, and also worked as a shipbroker at Howe Robinson from 1991 to 2000.
