Executive Moves: MatchBack Systems, Swissport International and V.Group

MatchBack Systems forms board of directors, while Swissport International names CEO of Swissport UK & Ireland, and V.Group appoints non-executive directors to board.    Trucking software as a service (SaaS) solutions provider MatchBack Systems, Inc. has announced the formation of its board of directors. Joining President and CEO Todd Ericksrud on the board will be Chairman Hans Peter Michelet, Bob Baker and John Keenan.
   An independent financier with investments in several start-up companies since 1998, Michelet’s senior management experience includes stints as executive chairman for multiple companies during their early growth stages.
   Baker is the president, CEO and chairman of the board of SynchroNet Marine, Inc., and President and CEO of SynchroNet Intermodal Services, Inc. Prior to his current role, he served in a variety of roles for container carriers Sea-Land Services, Crowley Maritime Corp. and United States Lines. Keenan is a former president and COO of a publicly traded steamship line with decades of maritime industry experience.

   Swissport International Ltd., a provider of ground and cargo handling services to the aviation industry, has named Luzius Wirth to the role of CEO Swissport UK & Ireland, effective June 1, 2017. Wirth will remain in his role as EVP Group Services and continue to report directly to Eric Born, group president and CEO of Swissport International Ltd.

   Marine and offshore vessel management and support services provider V.Group Ltd. has appointed John Pattullo and Jesper Kjaedegaard as non-executive directors to the company’s board.
   A former CEO of CEVA Logistics, Pattullo will assume the position of chairman. Kjaedegaard is a 30-year veteran of A.P. Moller-Maersk, most recently serving as CEO of the Maersk Company UK Ltd. and a member of Maersk Line’s executive board.
