Executive Moves: Hansa Heavy, Broekman Logistics and ATA

Hansa Heavy Lift appoints head of Asia Pacific, while Broekman Logistics promotes new managing director of warehousing and distribution and American Trucking Associations names Infrastructure Funding Task Force members.    Hansa Heavy Lift has appointed Henry Woo as the new head of its Asia Pacific division, based in Singapore.
   Woo, who joined Hansa Heavy in 2012 as head of commercial, Asia Pacific, takes over for Joerg Roehl, who is relocating back to Europe but will remain with the organization in an advisory role

   Broekman Logistics has promoted Willem Jan van Amersfoort to the position of managing director of the firm’s Warehousing & Distribution segment. With the departure of Jacques Klein Kramer, van Amersfoort has taken on the commercial responsibility for the business unit in addition to his current role as managing director, Warehousing & Distribution.

   The American Trucking Associations (ATA) has named the 11 members of its new Infrastructure Funding Task Force, which will meet for the first time on Dec. 9. Members of the group, tasked with evaluating potential sources of funding for transportation infrastructure improvements, include:

     • Co-chair David Congdon, CEO, Old Dominion Freight Line (co-chair);
     • Mike Ducker, president and CEO, FedEx Freight;
