Exports rise by $2 billion in October

U.S. exports in October totaled $197.5 billion, which included record exports of non-petroluem goods, according to the Commerce Department.

U.S. exports rose by a little more than $2 billion from September to October, finishing the month at $197.5 billion, according to the Commerce Department.
Commerce also said record levels of exports were reach in non-petroleum goods.
“Today’s data shows that American goods and services are in high demand around the world, which is great news for our businesses, job creation and the American people,” said Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker. “In order to sell more American goods and services to the 95 percent of consumers who live outside the United States, America must continue leading the world in negotiating high-standard trade agreements that give our exporters access to billions of customers beyond our borders.”
