U.S. continues antidumping investigations of lemon juice imports

The U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is “reasonable indication” that the country’s lemon juice industry is harmed by imports of this commodity from Argentina and Mexico being sold on the U.S. market at less than fair value.

The ITC responded to a petition filed by Sherman Oaks, Calif.-based Sunkist Growers.

As a result of the ITC’s decision, the Commerce Department will continue to conduct its antidumping investigations of imports of lemon juice from Argentina and Mexico, with its preliminary determinations by Feb. 28.
