I find it interesting that FedEx only has company drivers for next-day air packages and sells all the work to contractors who then hire drivers for delivery. Fed Ex and UPS have a stark contrast in that one has better pay and benefits for the driver, UPS. While the other has mini millionaire contract holders with drivers, Fed Ex. I’m sure there are way more complex differences but thought this fact is always missing in this discussion.
