The CBP Laredo Field Office oversees U.S. ports of entry along the Mexican border in the cities of Laredo, Roma, Del Rio, Brownsville, Eagle Pass, Hidalgo, Rio Grande City and Progreso.

“In 2020 both governments expect to implement low-cost, high-impact strategies to simplify customs and immigration screening and reduce wait times,” the U.S. State Department said.
