An item in the Oct. 26 Shippers’ Newswire about MOL joining an Evergreen Line service between Central America and the north coast of South America did not fully explain the nature of MOL’s ongoing involvement in the trade. According to the Japanese line, it is still offering space on the same rotation as the own-operated service it revised last month, through a slot sharing agreement with X-PRESS Container Line, which MOL said will jointly run the loop with Evergreen.
As previously stated in the item, MOL will continue to use the CX3 moniker for the service with a rotation of Manzanillo (Panama), La Guaira, Puerto Cabello, and Manzanillo.
